Gary Houtz Benefit Fund
At the end of May, Gary Houtz, a renowned tatting teacher, was involved in a head-on collision. He survived the accident but his recovery will take quite some time. To help Gary with expenses not covered by insurance, DS9Designs will contribute 10% of all sales during the month of July to the Benefit Fund established for Gary at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union, 15 Bodo Dr, Durango, CO 81301.

This gorgeous draw-string bag is Sherry's creation. The inside includes 8 3-inch deep pockets, a perfect size for tatting shuttles, small scissors and other tatting items. The bag fits in a 6"x6"x6" box and is large enough to hold 3 50g balls of thread. When Debbie has hers stuffed full, it measures about 8" diameter and 4" high. The bag pictured is Debbie's and never looks this organized!

Special features:

• Fleece-lined cd to provide a firm bottom.
• Eyelets are used for the drawstrings, to prevent your bag from ripping.
• Fray-check is used on the drawstring ends to prevent fraying.
• The bag is lined with a heavy-weight stiffener to help the bag hold its shape.
• The pockets are double-lined.
• The exterior of the bag is double-lined.

We have added a new category--plain bags. The plain bags are made out of country classic or calico fabrics and are perfect for the tatter who wants to personalize his/her own bag. Plain bags are $19.00 each. Regular bags are $20.00 or $21.00, depending on cost of lining fabric.
