Gary Houtz Benefit Fund
At the end of May, Gary Houtz, a renowned tatting teacher, was involved in a head-on collision. He survived the accident but his recovery will take quite some time. To help Gary with expenses not covered by insurance, DS9Designs will contribute 10% of all sales during the month of July to the Benefit Fund established for Gary at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union, 15 Bodo Dr, Durango, CO 81301.

The Big Eye Needles and medium heavy twisted wire needles work great with size 20 thread and delica seed beads. The light twisted wire needle works well with pearls where the holes are very fine. However, the light twisted wire needle is so light and flexible that it has a habit of springing out of your hands and losing itself on the floor. The Zohata needles are also good for Delica seed beads, but I found them difficult to thread with size 20 thread. Size 50 thread is much easier to thread through the eye of this needle.
