Ordering and Return Policy

Gary Houtz Benefit Fund
At the end of May, Gary Houtz, a renowned tatting teacher, was involved in a head-on collision. He survived the accident but his recovery will take quite some time. To help Gary with expenses not covered by insurance, DS9Designs will contribute 10% of all sales during the month of July to the Benefit Fund established for Gary at Southwest Colorado Federal Credit Union, 15 Bodo Dr, Durango, CO 81301.
For orders shipped within the USA:
You can order in one of 4 ways:
1. PayPal. Pay by credit card, e-check, or bank account through Paypal using Paypal's shopping cart. Note: We are a small company (just the 2 of us!) so we only accept credit card payments through Paypal.
How does this work?
- Click on the add item to cart button next to the item you wish to purchase
- On PayPal's secure shopping cart page, change the quantity of an item, remove an item, recalculate total.
- Proceed to check-out and follow Paypal's instructions.
- Not a paypal member? Paypal will get you signed up.
- I ship you the items via US Postal Service within 24 hours of receiving payment. E-checks or payment from your bank via Paypal will take a few days to clear.
- If we are vending at a lace gathering (check our schedule), shipments will be handled in the order they were received after we return from vending.
2. Don't like PayPal? You can add items to the Paypal shopping cart, print out the cart, calculate shipping and handling yourself (rates are below) and mail the printout, along with a check made out to DS9Designs and send to:

3. Still don't like PayPal? Ignore the shopping cart, go to the order form, print it out, fill it in with the items you want, calculate your order amount, shipping/handling, total order and mail it along with a check made out to DS9Designs and send to the address above.
4. You can email your order to Debbie at deb_tat@hotmail.com and reserve the items requested. Then send payment by snail mail.
Orders received by snail mail or email will be shipped once your check has cleared. Orders received through PayPal will be shipped promptly, usually within 24 hours.
For orders shipped outside the USA:
NOTE: Rates for international shipping increased dramatically in 2007 and a bit more in 2008. Rates for orders that fit in a large envelope start at $11.00. Rates for orders that have to go in a box will run $20.00 or more.
NOTE: As of 06 March 2007, we will no longer accept money orders. You have the option of paying via paypal or sending cash in US funds.

- Once you've got everything accurate in the shopping cart (quantity, etc.), email Debbie deb_tat@hotmail.com a list of what you have ordered and the amount. You can also keep a running tally of what you want if you don't want to use the shopping cart.
- International packages will be mailed International Priority Mail. If your order can fit in a 9.5" x 12.5" envelope, rates are $11.00 for Canada/Mexico and $13.00 for Other Countries. If your order has to go in a box, rates are likely going to be $20.00 or more.
- I will email you a Paypal request for funds, including international shipping.
- Not a paypal member? Not a problem. The Paypal request for funds email will have instructions on how to sign up.
- Once payment has cleared, I ship you the items usually within 24 hours of receiving payment. E-checks or payment from your bank via Paypal will take a few days to clear.

2. Don't like PayPal? You can email your order to Debbie at deb_tat@hotmail.com and reserve the items requested. I will calculate international postage and email you the total for your order. Send CASH payment in US Funds (international money orders no longer accepted) by snail mail to:

Returns and Exchanges
If it is necessary to return or exchange some merchandise, please email Debbie at deb_tat@hotmail.com before sending the return.
Pack the return merchandise well so it arrives back to us in resaleable condition.
If we sent an item by mistake, we will gladly refund the return postage if sent by cheapest method. If you ordered the wrong item or you changed your mind about some merchandise, the responsibility for return postage is yours. We will happily refund or replace the merchandise at your shipping expense if it is returned in good condition.
Returns must be made within 30 days. No returns on sale merchandise.
